If I were in a band that was for kids, my band name would be The Ocelots. We would have cornered the very sizable children’s music market in the late 90s. Let’s face it, kids love the animals… our albums would have names like Rock-a-lot with The Ocelots, and Ocelot Rock

If I was in a hip, alternative, jam-band, my band name would be Logical Jargon!. the promos for our first album: We Speak the Language of Rock… and only you understand what we’re saying.
(Yes, the exclamation point is necessary).

If I was in a bubblegum-pop group, my band name would be Alert Now!: Sure, it’s pop, but with a message!
(We use a company by this name to notify families in case of emergency. With the weather in Seattle, we have used them a bit recently.)

My 50s Doo Wop band name would be The Nominations. Unlike any political race, this band would have harmony (get it… harmony…. it is as though the same word can be used in two different ways… get it.)

37 Cherry St. : Originally a funk band in the early 70s, we never found success. We hit the charts later that decade when we worked one of our earlier songs into a disco blockbuster.
(This was an address I saw on the way to work).
