If I were in a 50’s Doo Wop group, my band name would be The Soultunes. We would also have had a few small hits with Motown in the 60’s.

Later the only surviving member (please let it be me) would change the name to SoulTune and play contemporary jazz-hip hop with righteous songs of political and social commentary… or maybe weddings.

If I were in an all girl band (well, mostly) my band name would be Chicklet. We would rock college radio…

Either Folk Music or Speed Metal, a good band name would be Donkey Cart .

Coming soon to a club near you, my band — Republican Car Wash. Funk band that features a tuba player. (And, no, we would not play a fundraiser for any political party).

If I were in an emo rock group, my band name would be: My Ethiopian Cabbie.

My cover band name would be Repository of Rock.

If was in a death metal band, my group’s name would be Der Hexxer Von Oz. (Have you ever watched the extra commentary in The Wizard of Oz?)

If I were in a band that was for kids, my band name would be The Ocelots. We would have cornered the very sizable children’s music market in the late 90s. Let’s face it, kids love the animals… our albums would have names like Rock-a-lot with The Ocelots, and Ocelot Rock
